Since its inception in 2016, India Day has been a testament to the enduring bond between the two nations, bringing India and Finland closer through art, culture, and business. From its humble beginnings at the Cable Factory in Helsinki to its grandest celebrations in Kaisaniemi Park, the event has grown in scale and significance. India Day 2023 welcomed over 30,000 visitors, highlighting the diversity and unity in both Indian-Finnish cultures and celebrating friendship between both countries. The event serves as a platform to express gratitude to Finland for providing the Indian community with a comfortable home away from home while fostering deeper connections between the two nations.
